President's Message

We made it to the end of the year - Happy December, BOMA Greater Tucson!

Cheers to another successful, SOLD OUT, BOMA GT Annual Golf Tournament. While the final numbers are still in the works, we are trending towards exceeding our projections. I would like to send a big shoutout to Luann, the golf committee members and volunteers, and our sponsors. This tournament is a success because of the hard work you all put in all year, so thank you! I hope everyone who was able to make it out to the course this year had a blast. See you next year!

To wrap up the year, the Holiday Mixer & Members of the Year event will be held on December 12 at Barrio Brewing Co. from 4pm to 6pm. Appetizers and one free drink will be provided. We will also collect final donations for Southern Arizona Book Heros at the event. Get registered and join us for an evening of fun and networking to close out 2024!

The new year will begin with welcoming Greg Curtis Wakefield, a Life Potential & Leadership Coach and Communication Consultant, to talk about the 7 Levels of Human Energy. Greg was recommended by Jack Lambert, the owner of INfinitUs Mindset, who spoke to our association this past January about setting meaningful goals. I look forward to hearing from Greg about the 7 Levels of Human Energy and how they impact the ways we show up personally and professionally. This luncheon will be held on January 28, with registration open through January 23, 2025.

As our Programs Committee finalizes the calendar for 2025, please let us know what events, education opportunities, or other ideas you would like to see brought to BOMA GT.

Thank you all for making 2024 such a wonderful year for BOMA Greater Tucson. Your attendance and participation help keep our association moving forward and I am grateful to be sharing this experience with you all. I look forward to seeing what 2025 brings and I am excited to be passing the torch to our President, Eileen Lewis. Eileen is a seasoned President and will be working alongside a great group of people elected to the Board, so I know we are in good hands. It has been an honor serving as BOMA Greater Tucson’s President these past two years – thank you!
