The size and influence of BOMA/Greater Tucson makes it one of the most influential groups in the city in terms of lobbying for real estate issues such as construction codes changes, real estate tax issues and real estate education.  BOMA has helped enact and set standards used universally throughout the real estate industry. 

National

BOMA International has positioned itself as the premier real estate advocacy association, developing into the government watchdog for national real estate industry issues. BOMA continues to successfully advocate in the areas of codes and standards, against forced building entry for telecommunications service providers, push for broad-based capital gains tax relief that treats commercial real estate fairly, and is the only real estate organization heard on Capitol Hill in support of electric utility deregulation.
